It would be something like if steam had LoL on it one day and when you hit play the same old launcher pops up like you had just clicked it regularly on your desktop or wherever anyway. It's presence doesn't really feel that noticeable compared to other DRMs like Uplay or Origin, though, in my opinion. Hi-Rez is to Smite as Riot is to League of Legends. That's nearly the only difference I see, the names lol. League's company is Riot while this one is Hi-Rez. Yeah It's an almost identical business model compared to LoL's. it has a business model like LoL, doesn't it? Where the entrance fee to the game is free but there are a variety of purchases for blablabla whatever not the topic of this thread? If you still have problems, though, I'd think it's something more than just a simple uninstall and would recommend maybe even contacting support if you absolutely can't find anything. Sorry if this doesn't fix it, I don't really have a lot of advanced knowledge in this stuff so things that may involve the cache or whatnot I'm not reliable for helping.

Congratulations, Anything Smite related should now be removed from your PC *Helps to organize the list by name (if it isn't already) if you have trouble finding it* Find and uninstall everything with the name 'Hi-Rez' found anywhere in it Under Programs select Uninstall a program Go to Control Panel (should be able to navigate there from start)

If you have already installed it once on steam and you're now trying a clean install of smite that is NOT connected to steam, then this is what you're gonna have to do.ĮDIT: If you're having trouble figuring out where to go here's what I said above step-by-step You have to uninstall anything and everything that has the name 'Hi-rez' to remove it from your computer. When you go to uninstall it in the Control Panel you will also notice smite isn't listed. Just deleting local content on Steam will NOT uninstall smite from your computer.
